and I thought it was for real this time

I have to hand it to you March, you are a tricky one. You really like throwing us a curveballs. Every year I’m lulled into a false sense of security when you toss a few beautiful, spring like 65 degree days our way like you did this weekend. I start thinking about putting away my winter clothes and breaking out the flip flops. Then I wake up two days later and its 5 degrees with winds gusting at approximately 700 mph. Good one March. I couldn’t even listen to my iPod on my walk to work this morning because the wind was blowing the headphones out of my ears. Well that and I couldn’t feel my fingers enough to turn it on. This happens every year and yet I never see it coming. You win again March, you always do.

Wait!! You had some 65 degree days already and you are complaining???
I, who is stuck in the frozen tundra of West Michigan, don't like you much right now.

And I am too cold to make sure that I use the correct grammar too.

I heard we're going to get another winter storm tonight. Yeah, I know I'm Ohio and I should be used to this by now, but I don't want this weather. I want Spring showers and flowers and warmer weather without the white stuff.

we had ONE 65 degree day. and apparently now we live in the goddamn plains b/c it's so windy there must be nothing but flat land to blow around the miserable cold.

i'm not bitter.

I guessing it's probably too cold and windy for that bird. You have to look on the bright side of life.

Rachel - It's not the cold that bothers me as much as the inconsistancy. I don't want to be teased with warmth, if it's going to be cold just stay cold.

Tara-Are you trying to say you'll be giving up cocaine in this spring. Congrats, thats a big step.

Carrie-Tell me about it, there is something about the geometry of the street I live on that turns it into wind tunnel. I swear that for about a 200 yard stretch the wind is blowing at least 30 mph harder than anywhere else.

Mike-Good call, I guess that is something to celebrate.

Catherinetter-Maybe next year we'll wise up to marches game and be ready for it.

I was especially happy walking outside to 10 degree temperatures with wind chills in the negative numbers.

For some reason or another, March always sucks. This March seems to be no exception.
