Because why not

Having a blog makes me laugh. I get a kick out of talking about it. I can't really explain why, it just makes me chuckle a little bit.

Sometimes when I'm bored and not thinking about anything in particular I'll have little mock exchanges in my head. It sounds sort of weird I think but you should try it. It's a pretty solid way to entertain yourself when there's nothing else going on. So anyway, I was thinking about my blog and laughing, and then I had this imaginary exchange that made me laugh even more:

Me: Oh hey, you should check my blog.

Random Person who I want to check out my blog: Why?

Me: Um.....

And thats it, because really I have no good reason to have a blog and theres even less reason for anyone to want to "check it out."

I'm checking it out and frankly it's starting to scare me.

Don't act like you don't do it.

I talk to myself all the time. I just don't have conversations with myself unless the other person is someone specific. Like trying to figure out how to tell my boss I broke a peice of equipment.

Eric I think you should use this line to pick up girls when you go out. I mean, it's not like you can do any worse with the ladies.

I don't even know what that means, so I'll just choose not to acknowledge it. Nice try.

Didn't someone just right a post about resorting to online dating. I thought I read that somewhere recently.

mike, as someone having the same profession as me, i think you know the value of a free meal. and besides, had i NOT resorted to that, I'd be short a good 10 funny stories (there were some that were just too damn long to tell) not to mention the sweet 2nd row tickets to the wizards game
